About Dary Rezvani
Dary Rezvani is the son of a Fresno native, the descendent of brave immigrants, and the grandchild of a man who fought the 20th century’s most pivotal wars. He is a small business champion, a skilled financial management consultant, and the best damn dog owner on his block. Dary Rezvani is many things.
A first-generation American whose father immigrated from Iran, Dary was born and raised in Fresno, California. At 19, Dary and his father became business partners, owning and operating an automotive repair facility while he studied at Fresno City College and Fresno State University. Months before he was to complete his bachelor’s in accounting, Dary lost his father to cancer. He took the reins of the auto shop, got his degree, and was quickly hired by one of the nation’s largest accounting and finance firms. He spent three years working as an auditor and management consultant.
But Dary’s sense of civic responsibility again forces him to re-immerse himself in the community and its needs. Dary, the definition of a dedicated American entrepreneur, is now bringing his diverse background and experience with both small and corporate business into the political realm. Having lived the realities of the Central Valley — from the burden of rising costs to the lack of good-paying jobs — Dary has developed a unique perspective on the problems facing California and beyond. He is a passionate, productive, homegrown talent whose ability to connect with people from all walks of American life is apparent in his every move. His vision for a brighter future is both limitlessly compassionate and strikingly in touch. He is tenacious and tender, uncompromising yet measured. His plan is simple: Fight for students, teachers, and our community with every vote he makes as a State Center Community College District Governing Board Trustee. Dary is a voice for the Valley.
